Dr. Ariella Lenton-Brym

Clinical Psychologist & Clinic Co-Director

Welcome, I’m Dr. Ariella Lenton-Brym, a Clinical Psychologist dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel understood and empowered to make meaningful changes.

I work with individuals experiencing posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and depression. I also have a special focus on perinatal mental health, supporting parents navigating postpartum anxiety and depression. In addition to individual therapy, I provide Cognitive Behavioral Conjoint Therapy (CBCT) for PTSD, helping couples address trauma and strengthen their relationships.

My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness. Together, we build insight, skills, and strategies tailored to your goals and values.

I completed my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University, with clinical training focused on anxiety and depressive disorders at nationally regarded research hospitals, including St. Joseph’s Healthcare, St. Michael’s Hospital, and Humber River Hospital. I completed my predoctoral internship at the University of Manitoba, where I gained unique experience working with first responders and veterans at the Deer Lodge Operational Stress Injury Clinic.

My research centers on anxiety disorders, particularly social anxiety disorder, and how anxiety and related challenges affect close relationships. I have also served as a Clinical and Equity Consultant for CarePoint Health’s Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program, supporting culturally responsive care.

Therapy is a collaborative journey, and I feel privileged to walk alongside clients as they build resilience and create lives that feel meaningful and fulfilling. I welcome you to reach out to explore working together.
