Psychological Assessment
A psychological assessment is a crucial first step in understanding your experiences and guiding effective treatment. During the assessment, we will work together to gain a clear picture of your challenges, help you define future goals, and create a tailored plan for your next steps.
Individual therapy offers a supportive space to explore your challenges and work toward meaningful change. Our approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, helping you build coping strategies, foster resilience, and achieve personal growth. Together, we’ll work to create a path forward that aligns with your goals and values.
Individual treatment is available for those struggling with the following issues or presentations:
Individual Treatment
-
We provide evidence-based interventions for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE).
These treatments are available in a traditional weekly format, as well as in a massed or intensive format, where individuals attend daily sessions and can complete treatment over the course of 1–2 weeks.
Our team also has specialized experience working with first responders, military personnel, and other populations facing unique challenges related to trauma.
-
We can work with you on a number of anxiety-related concerns, including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks or panic disorder, specific phobias, and stress/burnout.
We also have special interest in perinatal mental health, including postpartum anxiety and depression.
-
We will work with you to overcome negative thinking, increase your engagement in daily life, and get back to feeling happier. Treatment for depression may involve cognitive therapy, behavioral activation, acceptance and committment therapy, and/or mindfulness-based approaches.
-
While psychedelic-assisted therapy is not yet widely available outside research settings, we offer psychedelic integration sessions for individuals preparing for, or reflecting on, psychedelic experiences — whether through clinical trials, ceremonial contexts, or independent use. These sessions provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment for making meaning of experiences, coping with any emergent challenges, and integrating insights into everyday life.
-
Together, we can work through a number of additional problems or experiences that you may be facing, including grief, coping with major life transitions, low self-esteem, body image concerns, and social adjustment.
Couples Treatment for PTSD
Posttraumatic stress can affect both individuals and their closest relationships. I offer Cognitive Behavioral Conjoint Therapy (CBCT) for PTSD, an evidence-based treatment designed to support individuals and their loved ones impacted by posttraumatic stress. Together, we’ll work to rebuild trust, enhance communication, and address the specific challenges that PTSD brings to your relationship.
